There is no scientific basis to say that E10 gasoline makes cars get hot
Representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade said that the deployment of E10 bio-gasoline from June 1, 2026 to serve the goal of sustainable development, emission reduction and ensuring energy security is not an imposed decision or aimed at restricting people's choice. According to management agencies, E10 gasoline has been researched, tested and is suitable for most vehicles circulating in Vietnam.

Regarding concerns that E10 gasoline will cause the car to heat up and consume fuel, experts believe that this is mainly subjective and there is no clear scientific basis. According to the Vietnam Biofuel Association, in theory, E10 can cause fuel consumption to increase by about 3% due to lower thermal energy than mineral gasoline, but this difference is very difficult to recognize in reality. State Bank Inspectorate raises shortcomings at Vikki Bank
On May 28, the State Bank Inspectorate announced the inspection conclusion at Vikki One Member Limited Liability Bank (Vikki Bank).
Regarding administrative violations, the SBV Inspectorate issued a decision to sanction acts related to credit granting activities, asset classification, issuance of internal regulations and compliance with the reporting regime, Vikki Bank fully paid the fine on September 29, 2025.

Nearly 200 million VND of clothing suspected of counterfeiting brands seized in Ninh Binh
Ninh Binh Provincial Police coordinated with the Market Management force to inspect T.K fashion store on Hai Ba Trung street, Nam Dinh ward and discovered 119 garments showing signs of counterfeiting famous brands protected in Vietnam.
The total value of the suspected counterfeit goods is nearly 200 million VND. The entire shipment has been temporarily seized by functional forces to serve the verification, investigation and handling according to legal regulations.
The business household owner admitted to importing and selling counterfeit branded products to chase profits and meet market demand even without the brand owner's permission. The case is currently being further clarified by functional agencies. See more...
A company in Tuyen Quang fined 200 million VND for dumping dust exceeding standards
Tuyen Quang Provincial Police said that they have strengthened inspections of production and business establishments at risk of environmental pollution according to the general review plan of the Ministry of Public Security. Functional forces focus on inspecting areas prone to violations of discharge, emissions and environmental protection.

On May 21, functional agencies fined Ha Giang Iron and Metallurgy Joint Stock Company 200 million VND for discharging dust exceeding technical regulations from 1.1 to less than 1.5 times at Binh Vang Industrial Park.
