More than 1,000 violating products seized in Ninh Binh
After more than 2 weeks of simultaneous deployment, Market Management Team No. 9 (Ninh Binh Provincial Market Management Sub-Department) has strengthened inspections of food production and business establishments, coordinating with local police to detect and handle violations.
Through inspection, functional forces handled 12 violating establishments, administratively fined 31.5 million VND and confiscated more than 1,000 violating products, with a total value of more than 24 million VND. The main violations are trading in smuggled goods and not registering business households as prescribed.
In the coming time, Market Management Team No. 9 will continue to coordinate with functional forces to strengthen inspections of high-risk food groups, strictly handle violations to ensure food safety and market stability in the province. See more...

Lao Cai fines Nam Dong IV Hydropower Plant for violating reservoir operating regulations
The Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee issued a decision to fine Nam Dong IV Hydropower Joint Stock Company 175 million VND for failing to review and adjust the operating procedures of Nam Dong IV hydropower reservoir on schedule as prescribed.
Violations were discovered during the appraisal of reservoir operation procedure dossiers and were handled according to Decree 133/2026/ND-CP on sanctioning administrative violations in the electricity sector. The enterprise has no aggravating or mitigating circumstances and is not subject to additional penalties.
According to the decision, Nam Dong IV Hydropower Joint Stock Company must pay the fine within 10 days from the time of receiving the decision. If it is slow to comply, the enterprise will be subject to enforcement and must pay an additional 0.05%/day on the late payment fine. See more...
Thanh Hoa announces DCCI Index results according to the 2-level local government model
Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee coordinated with VCCI Thanh Hoa - Ninh Binh Branch to announce the results of the Department, Board, Sector and Local Competitiveness Index (DCCI) in 2025. In the department, board, sector block, Customs Sub-Department of Region X topped, followed by the Department of Health, Department of Finance and Department of Science and Technology. In the commune block, Sao Vang commune, Hoang Hoa commune and Ha Long commune led the ranking.
According to VCCI, 2025 marks an important turning point when Thanh Hoa for the first time implements the DCCI index set for the 2026-2030 period, replacing the previous DDCI model, suitable for the two-level local government model. The index set aims to improve the quality of service to people and businesses, increase transparency, accountability and improve the investment and business environment.
Speaking at the ceremony, VCCI Chairman Ho Sy Hung requested Thanh Hoa to continue to improve the quality of DCCI, strengthen dialogue with businesses and improve coordination between agencies.
