According to Mr. Nguyen Chi Hieu, in the coming time, Vietnam needs to invest heavily in the field of science and technology, focusing on research and development. The government needs to create conditions for research institutes to cooperate with businesses to propose appropriate technology solutions. In particular, it is necessary to create a startup ecosystem, encourage creativity in the community, thereby discovering and supporting new ideas.

According to the Vietnam Technology and Innovation Investment Report 2024, nearly 100 funds have poured capital into Vietnamese technology startups, of which Singaporean investors led with 529 million USD, down 17% compared to the previous year. Compared to the global decrease of 35%, the Vietnamese market still showed stability.
Private economy is the most important driving force of the economy
Developing the private economy not only enriches the country but also liberates people's strength, expands creativity, and converts potential into wealth. However, it is necessary to ensure development within the legal framework, under the leadership of the Party and effective management of the State, in harmony between personal and national interests.
According to Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thuong Lang - senior lecturer at the Institute of International Trade and Economics, National Economics University (NEU), identifying the private economy as an important driving force of the economy is a correct policy of the Party and State. In fact, the private economic sector is currently facing many challenges, such as an unfavorable business environment, market fluctuations and fierce competition.

Dr. Can Van Luc - Finance - Banking expert, Chief Economist of BIDV - said that in order to develop a strong private economy, we need to nurture private enterprises to become the leading cranes to support domestic enterprises in general development. These must be leading enterprises in development, taking the lead in technological innovation, greening production and supply chains.
