At the beginning of 2026, Khanh Hoa province announced a list of 231 projects calling for investment in the 2026-2030 period.
This is identified by the leaders of Khanh Hoa province as a breakthrough solution, expected to create new development space and make an important contribution to the locality completing the GRDP growth target of 10-11% in 2026.
Mr. Tran Phong - Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee - said that the list of 231 projects just announced has a total area of more than 17,000 hectares, spanning many key areas.
This is considered a key step to expand development space, attract new investment flows and improve the quality of local growth.
The announcement of the list of 231 investment-aspirating projects is expected to create a clear shift in attracting resources, making an important contribution to helping Khanh Hoa complete 17 socio-economic targets set by the Provincial People's Council, and at the same time creating a foundation for the locality to aim to become a centrally-run city by 2027.
According to the approved list, there are 70 projects in the fields of trade - services, tourism; 43 urban and real estate development projects; 41 energy and renewable energy projects; 19 processing and manufacturing industry projects; 17 agricultural projects; 32 cultural - education - health projects; 7 environmental projects and 2 science and technology projects.
The allocation of projects in many fields is considered a key solution, expected to implement the socio-economic development goals that the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council has issued for 2026.
Accordingly, the province sets a GRDP growth target of 10-11%; GRDP per capita increases by over 12%; labor productivity increases by nearly 10% and the rate of skilled workers reaches 33.5%.
In the group of trade - services, tourism, many projects are planned in strategic locations such as the Tran Phu - Pham Van Dong coastal axis, Dong Hai area and North Nha Trang.
Projects such as Nha Trang Sea Village, coastal bicycle and pedestrian road, high-class hotel area on Yen Ninh axis, Vinh Hoa Trade Center, Mao Tien Bay... are expected to create new momentum for service - tourism growth, a sector that currently plays a key role in the province's GRDP structure.
In the field of urban and real estate, Khanh Hoa called for 43 projects to expand urban space, increase real estate value and create spillover effects to the commercial, service, and construction industries.
Projects such as the Northeast New Urban Area (K3 area), Southeast 1 - Southeast 2 Urban Area, Cam Ranh New Urban Area, Cam Thinh Dong, Ninh Hoa 1 - Ninh Hoa 2... are expected to contribute to promoting total social investment capital - the target set by the Provincial People's Council to increase by 20% in 2026.
The field of energy and renewable energy continues to be a highlight with a series of Dam Nai 3, Dam Nai 4, Tri Hai, Bau Ngu lake wind power projects, Phuoc Trung solar power and pilot battery storage systems.
This group of projects is assessed to be highly stable, contributing to creating sustainable revenue for the budget, and at the same time suitable for the province's green development orientation.
