In the digital age, the form of QR code scanning transfer is increasingly being prioritized. However, this form still has many potential risks.

Loss of transfer money collection

According to a recent report by NAPAS at the workshop "Future of Payment Intermediaries in Vietnam", the number of transactions via QR Code in 2023 will reach about 183 million transactions, a strong increase of 170% compared to 2022. This figure shows the strong level of consumer access and conversion from traditional payment methods to applying new technology.

Mr. Nguyen Phuc Anh - owner of a stationery store on Cau Giay Street (Hanoi) said that the store had lost more than 10 million VND in revenue after settling the fund in November 2024.

Mr. Phuc Anh informed: "At that time, the store was still using payment methods such as bank transfer, QR code scanning and the restaurant staff carefully took a photo of each transaction of each customer. However, after working abroad, I came back to check and reviewed the staff's report and was surprised to discover a loss of more than 10 million VND in transfer money.

After re-checking the information, many transactions were found to have errors, so the money was transferred back to the payment account. The remaining transactions are all virtual transactions because they use fake transfer images, which are not in accordance with the bank's deposit statement".

After that incident, Mr. Phuc Anh sought technological solutions to solve the problem of losses in the process of receiving money transfers from customers. Through research, Mr. Phuc Anh decided to use smart speaker products, capable of converting transaction information in the account into voice to notify the cashier about the customer's payment process.

Smart speaker solution, sales support

In the context of strong digital transformation, smart loudspeaker devices capable of announcing account balance fluctuations by voice have quickly become a trusted companion of thousands of store owners. These loudspeaker devices are not only known as a smart QR code payment solution but also receive many positive feedback from users.

Currently, there are many different types of smart speakers on the market such as: TingTing filter of 9Pay Company; VNPay soundbox transfer notification filter; Sapo QR02 transfer notification filter; Momo Paybox transfer notification filter...

Talking to Lao Dong, a representative of 9Pay Company - one of the first units to develop and distribute smart loudspeaker products said: "After only 3 months of implementation in the Hanoi market, the company has installed thousands of smart loudspeaker products for stores such as coffee shops, kiosks, grocery stores or stalls at traditional markets with a usage cost of only about 2,000 VND/day.

Confirming the amount of money via loudspeaker makes the payment process easier, saving time serving customers without having to take a photo of the customer's transaction screen or check balance changes on your banking app. Using smart speakers is more convenient for store owners in operation and transaction management. The transaction status of customers and the daily - weekly - monthly revenue summary will be updated on the accompanying management application.

This application integrates security technologies, ensuring that money in the account is always safe, can be withdrawn at any time and is completely free. In addition, store owners can delegate access to each employee to monitor work performance...".

According to the survey, the loudspeaker devices announced on the market have prices ranging from 600,000-1,000,000 VND, integrated with 4G data SIM cards for use or connection via the company's applications.
