On the morning of August 19, at Dong Mai Industrial Park (IP) in Quang Ninh province, Tonly Vietnam Electronics Technology Co., Ltd., a member of TCL Group - China's leading multi-industry group in the field of consumer electronics - held an inauguration ceremony and installed a signboard for the Plant for the manufacture of speakers, headphones and smart electronic devices.
Started in August 2023, after just over a year of construction, the factory has been basically completed and entered the trial operation phase.
With a designed capacity of 19 million products per year, including speakers, headphones, cameras, consumer electronics products, components, parts, semi-finished products and spare parts of cameras, microphones, wifi modem, smart control equipment, water flow control machines, etc., the project is expected to create jobs for more than 4,000 workers.
According to calculations, when put into stable operation, the project will bring in about 600 million USD in revenue per year, contributing nearly 100 billion VND to the budget.

This is also Tonly Vietnam's third project in Dong Mai Industrial Park, thereby forming a synchronous production chain, bringing high added value, while making Dong Mai a major production center of TCL Group in the region.
The total investment capital of the 3 projects of Tonly Vietnam Electronics Engineering Co., Ltd. in Quang Ninh to date is 233.38 million USD (equivalent to about 6,048 billion VND), creating jobs for about 7,000 workers in the locality and neighboring areas.
Previously, Tonly Vietnam Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. had 2 projects in Quang Ninh in operation, annually producing millions of speakers, headphones, smart electronic devices... which are the main industrial products of the province. In 2024, projects with revenue reaching 620 million USD, export value reaching over 600 million USD, paying over 88 billion VND to the budget, and creating jobs for over 6,000 workers.
According to Mr. Truong Manh Hung - Head of the Quang Ninh Economic Zone Management Board - along with this new project of Tonly Vietnam Electronics Engineering Co., Ltd., in 2025, there will be 12 more projects in the processing and manufacturing industry coming into production, contributing to the province's growth target of 14%.
In recent years, the processing and manufacturing industry of Quang Ninh has attracted 8.98 billion USD in investment capital, of which 6.74 billion USD is FDI capital. The industry maintains an average growth rate of over 21% per year, increasing the proportion in the province's GRDP structure to 12.83%, an increase of 3% compared to 2020. With these results, the processing and manufacturing industry has become a new growth driver for the Quang Ninh economy.
