    President Luong Cuong received National Assembly Chairman Woo Won Shik, who is on an official visit to Vietnam.

    On the afternoon of November 21, at the Presidential Palace, Politburo member and President Luong Cuong received President of the National Assembly of Korea Woo Won Shik.

    Chairman of the National Assembly of Korea Woo Won Shik and his wife are on an official visit to Vietnam from November 20-22 at the invitation of Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.

    The visit of National Assembly Chairman Woo Won Shik demonstrates South Korea's strong political determination to deepen and substantially implement the Vietnam - South Korea Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

    South Korea continues to maintain its first place in direct investment, third in trade from Vietnam and the two sides have reached the milestone of 5 million visitors in 2024.

    The two sides strive to soon complete the goal of increasing bilateral trade turnover to 150 billion USD by 2030; at the same time, expand cooperation in the fields of industry, energy and technology transfer to serve common development goals.
