On August 3, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Nghe An province issued Official Dispatch No. 10033/SNNMT-KS on the installation and operation of equipment to control the output of mined minerals in the province.
The official dispatch was issued to implement the direction of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee in Official Dispatch No. 9622/UBND-NN dated July 31, 2026 on implementing Conclusion No. 165-KL/TU dated July 30, 2026 of the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee on strengthening the management of mineral exploitation activities.
The Nghe An Department of Agriculture and Environment requests organizations and individuals operating in mineral exploitation in the province to urgently install and operate weigh stations, measuring equipment, surveillance cameras, and positioning equipment for vehicles exploiting and transporting minerals.
Data from these devices must be connected to Nghe An Provincial Tax Department, Provincial Police, Department of Agriculture and Environment, and People's Committees of communes and wards where mineral exploitation activities are carried out.
The deadline for completing the installation, connection and operation of the above-mentioned equipment is before August 20, 2026.
The Nghe An Department of Agriculture and Environment said that after the above deadline, any unit that does not implement it will be considered and advised to be strictly handled according to regulations.
In addition to the requirement for a production monitoring system, organizations and individuals exploiting minerals must fully implement the provisions of the law on minerals and relevant legal regulations.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment of Nghe An assigned the Mineral Department to guide and resolve problems arising during the implementation process.
