According to information announced on the National Bidding Network on June 13, the Project Management Board for Construction Investment and Urban Development of Thua Thien Hue province has just issued a decision to sanction contract violations against An Bao Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company for continuing to delay the construction progress of the competition hall renovation package under the Culture and Sports Square project.
An Bao Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company (address in Huong An ward, Hue city) was administratively sanctioned for violating the progress of implementing Economic Contract No. 147/HDKT dated December 24, 2024.
Specifically, the enterprise was determined to continue to be behind schedule in completing Package No. 11 - Construction costs and equipment for the stadium renovation item, compared to the progress adjusted in Contract Appendix No. 49/PL-HDKT dated April 16, 2026.
According to the handling decision, the fine amount (2nd time): 261,400,000 VND. Total fine value due to contract violation to date: 292,825,000 VND (including the value that the Investor previously fined in Decision No. 1046/QD-BĐTPT dated May 2026 with an amount of 31,33,500,000 VND)
Package No. 11 belongs to the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Culture and Sports Square project, invested and invited by the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Urban Development and Construction Investment Project Management Board.
Bidding information shows that the bidding package was approved for contractor selection results according to Decision No. 2558/QD-BĐTPT dated December 21, 2024. winning bid price: 83,220,217,000 VND (including VAT 8%).
The bidding package is organized for domestic open bidding, according to the one-stage one-envelope method. The type of contract applied is a fixed unit price combined with an adjusted unit price. The contract implementation period is 400 days from the commencement date.
The contractor selection results show that the winning joint venture includes An Bao Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company and Vinaconex 25 Joint Stock Company.
