According to Hung Yen Provincial Statistics, in the first 9 months of 2025, the total social investment capital in Hung Yen is estimated at VND 105,148 billion, an increase of 11.75% over the same period. Of which, state capital reached VND 26,104 billion, up 13.80%; non-state sector VND 58,500 billion, up 8.37%; foreign direct investment capital VND 20,544 billion, up 19.63%.
Investment capital from local budgets in September is estimated at VND 4,249 billion, up 71.57%. Provincial budget capital reached VND 2,488 billion, up 111.97%; commune-level budget capital reached VND 1,760 billion, up 35.16%. Of which, provincial capital was VND 14,423 billion, up 81. 40% and reaching 53.53% of the plan; commune-level capital was VND 10,622 billion, up 14.84% and reaching 65.47% of the plan.
As of September 26, the whole province has 915 foreign investment projects with a total registered capital of 16,483.97 million USD, of which 106 are new projects with a capital of 1,391.73 million USD. Japan leads with 192 projects, capital of 6,133.80 million USD (37.21% of total capital); China 340 projects, capital of 4,307.05 million USD (26.13%); Korea 206 projects, capital of 2,190.33 million USD (13.29%).
Regarding enterprises, according to Hung Yen Provincial Statistics, from August 22 to September 21, the whole province had 331 newly established enterprises with a registered capital of VND 2,288 billion, mainly in the processing and manufacturing industry (72 enterprises, VND 588 billion), construction (24 enterprises, VND 440 billion), wholesale, retail, and repair of cars and motorbikes (118 enterprises, VND 374 billion).
In September, 48 enterprises returned to operation; the cumulative nine-month period was 532 enterprises. The number of dissolved enterprises is 95, temporarily suspended is 104; accumulated for the first nine months, there were 421 dissolved enterprises and 1,433 temporarily suspended enterprises. The processing and manufacturing industry accounts for 18.53% of dissolved enterprises, 22.61% of temporarily suspended enterprises; the wholesale and retail industry accounts for 34.44% and 36.22%.
