Coastal areas of Mong Cai 1, 2, 3, Hai Ninh, Quang Ha, Cai Chien, Duong Hoa, Dam Ha, Hai Hoa, Cua Ong, Cam Pha, Quang Hanh, Ha Tu, Ha Long, Hong Gai, Bai Chay, Viet Hung, Tuan Chau, Ha An, Lien Hoa, Ha Long Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay recorded winds of level 3-4, sometimes level 5, gusting to level 6, with scattered rain.
At 10:00 on October 6, the center of the tropical depression was at about 22.1 degrees North latitude; 107.0 degrees East longitude, in the southern part of Guangxi (China), the strongest wind near the center was level 6, gusting to level 8, moving west at about 15 km/h.
Tourism activities in Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay are still temporarily suspended, and tourist ships at Tuan Chau International Passenger Port are still anchored safely.

On the morning of October 6, in Co To Special Zone, Mong Cai 1 and Mong Cai 2 wards, all students were still absent from school to ensure safety.
In some areas less affected by the storm, many schools opened to welcome students this morning, replacing the previous storm-abandoning holiday plan. Some schools implement online learning.
