Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and Workers' Month 2026 with the theme "Innovating management and improving the efficiency of occupational safety and health work in the digital age" is being implemented by Mong Duong Thermal Power Company from May 1st to May 31st, 2026, to contribute to raising awareness, responsibility and awareness of compliance with OSH laws of all officials, employees and workers in the Company.
At the launching ceremony of the Action Month, Mr. Tran Dang Toan - Deputy Director, Chairman of the Company's Trade Union - called on all employees to actively respond to the Action Month with specific actions such as strictly complying with safety technical procedures, proactively identifying and preventing risks, and raising awareness of self-protection and self-protection of colleagues in the production process.
In May 2026, the Company organized training and initial first aid guidance for 389 employees; training safety awareness, fire prevention and fighting nghiệp vụ; training water - mechanic - heat - chemical work forms, electricity work forms for employees. At the same time, the Company sent a team to participate in the Excellent Safety and Hygiene Officer Contest at the Corporation level to improve skills, nghiệp vụ and spread occupational safety culture throughout the unit.
In addition to OSH activities, the Company also implements many contents to respond to Workers' Month 2026 with the spirit of focusing on workers, caring for life, working conditions and launching labor production emulation movements. The activities are organized practically, contributing to encouraging workers to promote the spirit of responsibility, creativity and attachment to the unit.
Along with that, the Company has selected and established the Company's ATVSV team to participate in the 2026 Excellent Safety and Hygiene Officer Contest at the Corporation level. This is a practical activity to improve knowledge, skills and professional skills for the team of safety and hygiene officers at the grassroots level; and at the same time create conditions for employees to exchange, learn, and exchange experiences in ensuring labor safety at the unit.
Through the contest, the Company continues to affirm the role of the safety and hygiene network in building a safe, professional and efficient working environment. As a result, Mong Duong Thermal Power Company was honored to win the Second Prize in the Contest.
