Through inspection work, the Inspection Teams discovered that businesses were selling 2,087 units of products such as alcohol, cigarettes, soft drinks, prepackaged foods produced abroad without sticking imported wine and cigarette stamps according to regulations and without invoices or documents proving the legality of the goods with a total value of goods of VND 211.4 million.
The Inspection Teams have drawn up records of administrative violations, temporarily detained, sealed all violations, completed the records and submitted to competent authorities to issue a Decision on administrative sanctions for violating business establishments, with a total administrative fine of 146 million VND, confiscated 1,537 products of various types of smuggled food goods and forced the destruction of 550 packs of smuggled cigarettes.
