On August 29, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Dang Van Ngoc - Head of the Market Management Department of Lang Son province - said that after checking, the authorities discovered at least 2 violations at the imported fruit store related to the sale of 3 grape clusters for 4.5 million VND.
Accordingly, the store was determined to have committed 2 errors in imported sales without a sub-label and did not post product prices.
"Currently, the authorities are continuing to verify the origin of the product. We have asked the store owner to present invoices and compare information. When the results are available, we will continue to inform the press, said Mr. Ngoc.
Previously, social networks in Lang Son were stirred up by a parent's reflection that an imported fruit store was selling 3 clusters of Korean milk grapes for 1.5 million VND/cube, a total of 4.5 million VND.

Facebook account V.D posted the following content: "The guys asked me if this price was reasonable? The 4.5 million VND Korean milk pot includes 3 groups of fruit with khoi and quy, all of which are advertised as imported fresh fruits".
Sharing with reporters, Ms. D. said that she ordered the fruit at Huong Dang Fruit Shop on Ba Trieu Street, Ky Lua Ward (old Lang Son City) to celebrate her daughter's birthday. In addition to Korean milk grapes, she also bought honey plums, melons and cherries.
The bill clearly shows Korean milk grapes at 1.5 million VND/cube (3 clusters of 4.5 million VND); plums at 250,000 VND/kg; melons at 180,000 VND/kg; cherries at 700,000 VND/kg. The total value of the order is nearly 8.5 million VND.
What makes customers upset is that the grapes are withered and no longer fresh. Cherries are also not uniform, "heavy, bland", even suspected of mixing old and new products.

"Immediately after the reflection, the store refunded me 500,000 VND and explained that it was the staff's package, not the store owner's fault. However, the prices of the items remain unchanged, said Ms. D.
As soon as the incident was reported, the Market Management Department of Lang Son province directed officers to investigate and clarify.
On the same day, at the store, according to the reporter's records, the store was still open normally, however, at the time of recording, the number of customers coming to buy goods was somewhat deserted.
