Price management and market stabilization
The Ministry of Finance affirmed that the management and operation of market prices during Tet have been strictly implemented. Localities have proactively stockpiled goods, ensured supply, and strictly handled acts of hoarding and price gouging. At the same time, market control, smuggling and trade fraud have also been strengthened to avoid abnormal price fluctuations.
After the Tet holiday, prices are not expected to fluctuate much due to abundant supply and low purchasing power. Supermarkets and traditional markets will be fully open, and the market will gradually return to normal. The Ministry of Finance will continue to closely monitor price developments to ensure market stability in the coming time.
