Combining tradition and modern technology

From lush green tea hills to fruit-laden coffee gardens, OCOP products here stand out with their distinctive flavors. It is a harmonious combination of traditional production methods and modern technology.
In an effort to innovate, Bao Lam district has applied aeroponic technology, bringing a new breakthrough in agricultural production.
This technology not only improves product quality but also meets current environmental standards and green, clean markets.
Mr. Dinh Cong Trang, representative of Vietnam Aeroponic Agricultural Products Production and Trading Company Limited, has brought about a major breakthrough when applying this technology to develop clean agricultural products.
Deciding to leave Saigon during the COVID-19 pandemic, Mr. Trang came to Bao Lam and was attracted by the fresh climate here.
Instead of following traditional farming models, he has opened a new, unique and potential direction.
With the desire to bring clean, safe and high quality agricultural products, he has applied modern aeroponic technology to growing vegetables, especially dandelions.

With aeroponic technology, dandelions are grown in a sterile environment, completely isolated from the soil. Thereby, completely eliminating the risk of heavy metal contamination and pollutants.
This not only ensures superior product quality but also helps to maximize water and growing space savings.
According to Mr. Trang, aeroponic technology not only helps dandelions grow healthily but also allows producers to make the most of every part of the plant, helping to increase economic value and effectively protect the environment.
"My dandelion greens, royal vegetables and dandelion tea products have now achieved 3-star OCOP certification. I will not stop there and will continue to improve the standards so that the products will become more and more perfect, meeting the increasing needs of customers" - Mr. Trang shared.
