Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province and Grab Vietnam cooperate to promote digital tourism transformation

The two sides will coordinate to apply technology to digitize the journey to explore Khanh Hoa, promote destinations and local cuisine, and enhance the tourist experience.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province and Grab Vietnam just signed a memorandum of cooperation on July 14, 2026 to promote digital tourism transformation, strengthen the promotion of destinations, cuisine and unique experiences of Khanh Hoa to domestic and international tourists. After the signing ceremony, the two sides will continue to coordinate to organize the Khanh Hoa "Prestigious" Restaurant award ceremony, honoring 40 typical restaurants and eateries in the locality, bringing these addresses closer to users on the digital platform.

According to the cooperation agreement until 2030, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province and Grab Vietnam will coordinate to implement digital transformation initiatives, improve the tourist experience and support local tourism promotion, specifically:

1.Digitizing the journey to explore destinations in Khanh Hoa: The two sides will coordinate to build the "Khanh Hoa Must-Try Map" feature on the Grab application, which includes a list of "Destinations to Try" introducing typical destinations and experiences based on the list proposed and verified by management agencies.


2.Promoting cuisine, specialties and accompanying local eateries: Through the "Khanh Hoa Must-try Map" feature, the two sides will coordinate to build a list of "Dishes to try" to introduce typical dishes, specialties and culinary addresses to users.


3.Strengthening the promotion of Khanh Hoa tourism image: Grab will coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province to introduce destinations, local culture and cuisine to domestic and international tourists through communication channels, destinations in tourism journeys and cooperation activities with influential people.

Within the framework of cooperation, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province and Grab Vietnam organized the award ceremony for "Trứ Danh" Khanh Hoa Restaurant on July 15, 2026.

The list of 40 restaurants and eateries is built on the basis of combining culinary addresses proposed by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province, the Khanh Hoa Culinary Culture Association, and the Khanh Hoa Tourism Association, along with data recorded from GrabFood users in the locality.

Mr. Tran Hoang Tuan, Market Development Director of Grab Vietnam, shared: "Each local eatery can become a touching point to help tourists understand more about the culture and people of a destination. Through "Truy Danh" Restaurant, we want to help users conveniently explore typical culinary addresses of Khanh Hoa, and at the same time create more opportunities for restaurant partners to reach more customers.

With Grab's technology, data and service ecosystem, we want to connect local flavors with the journey to explore Khanh Hoa, thereby contributing to enriching the experiences of people and tourists.

Not only honored at the event, eateries and restaurants are also introduced in the "Prestigious" eateries collection on GrabFood, helping users easily find, choose and enjoy local dishes.

On this occasion, Grab is implementing many preferential programs for users in Khanh Hoa. In particular, from now until July 20, 2026, users enter the GRABXKHANHHOA30 code to receive a 30,000 VND discount for orders from 100,000 VND at restaurants and eateries in the Khanh Hoa "Prestigious" Restaurant collection on GrabFood. In addition, from now until July 31, 2026, users enter the KHANHHOA code to receive a 50% discount, a maximum discount of 50,000 VND when using GrabBike, GrabCar or GrabFood services in Khanh Hoa.
