On November 6, the Market Management Department of Can Tho City announced that on November 5, the Inspection Team of Market Management Team No. 3 conducted an inspection of the Thuong Cosmetics Business Point, represented by Ms. N.T.T (address: Nguyen Van Cu extended street, An Khanh ward, Ninh Kieu district, Can Tho city).
Through inspection, the Inspection Team of Market Management Team No. 3 discovered that the Thuong Cosmetics business location had online business activities, advertised, introduced and sold products but did not notify the competent state management agency about the e-commerce website selling the products... Ms. N.T.T could not present invoices or documents proving the origin of the goods. The Inspection Team sealed and temporarily detained all of the above goods and made a record of administrative violations for handling.
It is known that the Market Management Department of Can Tho City has just issued a decision to issue a plan to inspect the peak period against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods in the last months of 2024; before, during and after the Lunar New Year 2025 in the city. Especially controlling goods traded in the online environment such as: e-commerce platforms, websites, social networks such as Facebook, TikTok; checking the quality of goods, compliance with legal regulations on national technical standards and regulations and promulgation of goods quality standards and food safety.
