Hanoi Market Management forces have just temporarily seized more than 2,600 fashion products showing signs of counterfeiting famous brands such as The North Face, Nike and Adidas at a store on Hang Dao street, with a total value of goods at listed prices of more than 417 million VND.
According to the Hanoi Market Management Sub-Department, implementing Official Dispatch No. 635/QLTT-NVTH dated June 24, 2026 of the Hanoi Market Management Sub-Department on implementing Notice No. 287/TB-VPCP dated June 5, 2026 of the Government Office, on June 24, Market Management Team (QLTT) No. 2 coordinated with Hoan Kiem Ward Police to inspect a fashion business store at No. 30 Hang Dao (Hoan Kiem Ward, Hanoi) owned by business household C.V. N.
At the time of inspection, the business household owner presented the Business Household Registration Certificate issued by Hoan Kiem Ward People's Committee on August 18, 2025, in accordance with the operating location.
Through actual inspection, functional forces discovered that the store was selling 2,635 products including fashion clothes and shoes with signs of counterfeiting The North Face, Nike and Adidas brands - brands that have been protected in Vietnam.
All of the above goods do not have invoices or documents proving legal origin. According to the listed price at the store, the shipment has a total value of more than 417 million VND.

Market Management Team No. 2 has issued a decision to temporarily seize all 2,635 products to continue verifying and clarifying signs of violations. In case a criminal case is detected, the file and exhibits will be immediately transferred to the Investigation Police Agency, Hoan Kiem Ward Police for handling according to the provisions of law.
Previously, business household C.V. N was also administratively sanctioned by Market Management Team No. 2.
The case is currently being further verified and clarified.
