On the morning of October 4, information from the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province said that Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan - Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province had a meeting and working with Aeon Mall Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Newland Investment Joint Stock Company - a strategic partner of Aeon Mall Vietnam on the implementation of the project in Bac Ninh province.

To date, the whole country has had 8 Aeon Group commercial centers, operating in the following provinces and cities: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Hai Phong, Hue, Tay Ninh.
In Bac Ninh, Aeon Mall Vietnam is coordinating to invest in a commercial center project combined with office business and tourism activities in Tan Tien ward with an area of over 76,000 m2, with a total investment of nearly 4,000 billion VND.
Up to now, the project has completed land procedures, assessed environmental impacts; is in the process of appraising the feasibility study report.
A representative of Newland Investment Joint Stock Company - the investor of Aeon Mall Commercial Center project in Tan Tien ward said that the project has completed the land allocation and financial obligations; is currently submitting an application for appraisal of the Feasibility Study Report according to regulations to serve as a basis for applying for the Project Investment Certificate. Expected to be completed in October 2025.
Newland Investment Joint Stock Company and its partner Aeon Mall Vietnam Co., Ltd. plan to complete the project transfer procedures when they meet the conditions according to the provisions of law in November 2025.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province Vuong Quoc Tuan respectfully thanked the enterprises for trusting in choosing Bac Ninh as an investment destination.
At the same time, he emphasized the determination of Bac Ninh province to become a centrally-governed city by early 2028. Therefore, the implementation of projects of Aeon Mall Vietnam Co., Ltd. in the province is a basis to contribute to promoting the province to soon achieve the set goals.
Regarding the contents of the discussion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that the Company study the plan to change the project's name, shape it with a new location of the province to create excitement for the people in the area; at the same time, position the brand long-term and on the digital map.
Expressing his desire to organize a groundbreaking ceremony for the project in Tan Tien ward on December 19, 2025, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the companies to urgently review and complete the project's procedures.
