At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - General Director of Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) gave some opinions on the implementation of Resolution 70. According to Mr. Tuan, Resolution 70 is an important document, setting out major and comprehensive orientations, creating a basis for units in the Ministry, corporations, general companies and energy enterprises to implement specific action plans.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan said that EVN has proactively assigned functional Committees to develop programs and action plans to concretize the spirit of Resolution 70 such as: It is necessary to closely follow the guiding viewpoints of Resolution 70, especially in perfecting the system of mechanisms and policies.

"It is necessary to soon apply a two-component electricity price mechanism. If fully implemented and transparent, this mechanism will eliminate the need to maintain price differences between electricity buyers" - EVN General Director expressed.

In addition, build a mechanism to mobilize power sources in line with energy security, in which priority is given to base sources (charcoal, gas) according to the specific characteristics of the operation technique, while encouraging renewable energy to invest in storage systems, ensuring the ability to participate in the transparent and fair electricity market...

We believe that, with the strong direction of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the synchronous coordination of units, along with the efforts of the entire energy sector, Resolution 70 will quickly come into life, creating a solid foundation to ensure national energy security in the new period - Mr. Tuan emphasized.

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hoang Long emphasized that Resolution 70 of the Politburo is an action guideline of great significance for the country's energy development. If Resolution 55 previously laid the foundation for strategic orientation, highly appreciated by domestic and foreign public opinion, this time, Resolution 70 has taken a step forward, more specifically and in more detail, closely following the breath of life, going straight to practical and urgent issues that the entire industry is struggling with and finding solutions. "It can be said that Resolution 70 is a beacon for us to clearly identify responsibilities and each ministry and branch in implementation", Deputy Minister Nguyen Hoang Long emphasized.

According to the Deputy Minister, thanks to the focus and positive comments of the representatives of agencies, organizations, corporations and units that have participated in the process of building the Resolution, Resolution 70 has been completed, reflecting the aspirations, aspirations and development requirements of the energy sector.

However, the Deputy Minister emphasized that the new resolution is just the beginning. The biggest challenge is to organize implementation into practice. This is a difficult and arduous period, requiring determination, creativity and a "do it now, do it now" spirit. There is no longer a concept of gradual progress, but from 2025, we have had to solve difficulties and problems in mechanisms and policies.

"Therefore, today's meeting is of special significance in disseminating the spirit of both running and lining up, proactively developing action plans, arranging order to prioritize scientific and reasonable work. With less time and limited human resources, but with many tasks, it requires more courage and leadership skills from each leader of the unit" - Deputy Minister Nguyen Hoang Long emphasized.

In addition, the Deputy Minister requested that key units under the Ministry, energy groups, etc. actively participate and contribute to ensure consistency and effective implementation of the Resolution.
