On February 5, Ho Chi Minh City organized working delegations led by Mr. Nguyen Van Dung - Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, along with representatives of departments and branches, to inspect and work with MM Mega Market An Phu, Satrafood Tran Nao, Coopmart Xa lo Ha Noi and Safoco Foodstuff Joint Stock Company.
At the inspection, the delegation acknowledged and highly appreciated the fact that the units have developed complete plans and proactively implemented plans to ensure supply according to the city's general plan. Thanks to that, the source of goods is ensured to be stable, and the goods stockpiling of distribution units also fully meets the requirements for quantity and quality of products.

According to Mr. Nguyen Duc Toan - CEO of MM Mega Market Vietnam, in order to create favorable conditions for customers to shop and ensure stable goods supply during the Lunar New Year, the unit has extended the operating schedule and opening hours of the system nationwide.
Accordingly, during the peak period before Tet, from February 10-15 (ie December 23-28 of the lunar calendar), the MM Mega Market system nationwide increased operating hours, with many centers extending opening hours to 23-24h.
In particular, MM Mega Market An Phu Center will operate continuously 24/24 during these peak days to maximally meet the increased shopping and distribution needs of individual customers and professional customers.

On the production enterprise side, Ms. Pham Thi Thu Hong - General Director of Safoco Food Joint Stock Company said that in January 2026, the enterprise is expected to supply about 1,850 tons of products to the market, an increase of 20-25% compared to December 2025.
Although right from the beginning of the year, raw material, fuel, and auxiliary materials suppliers have announced price adjustments at a high level, from 15-20%, the company's Board of Directors agreed not to increase selling prices, and at the same time promote promotional programs and price stabilization to stimulate consumer demand" - Ms. Hong said.
In addition, in the period near Tet, increased traffic volume and frequent congestion have caused many difficulties for goods delivery. Each day, transport vehicles can only carry out about one delivery trip, causing waiting time and transportation costs.
Faced with this reality, the company has increased personnel at supermarket systems to support arranging and displaying goods, ensuring a full and diverse source of goods on shelves; at the same time, extending delivery time to 10 pm, arranging additional marketing staff to support warehouses and using motorbikes to deliver goods in a timely manner to large and small agents, supermarkets and convenience stores.
From the actual inspection at retail outlets, manufacturers and distribution systems, Mr. Nguyen Van Dung - Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee said that after inspecting at wholesale markets, manufacturers and distribution units, it can be affirmed that the preparation of essential consumer goods to serve the city's people to celebrate spring and welcome Tet has been fully implemented.
“All units have price management strategies to serve people, including price reductions, market price stabilization, and even commitments to order 5-10 days in advance so that when the time of need comes, the price is still guaranteed as agreed, and the goods are always new and quality assurance. In addition, the city continues to strengthen inspection and supervision of supply and distribution units throughout the area to ensure quality, quantity and prices, serving people to enjoy spring and celebrate Tet in Ho Chi Minh City” - Mr. Dung emphasized.
Ho Chi Minh City commits to a source of goods that is not lacking, very abundant, from meat, fish, fresh vegetables and fruits to confectionery items, with a variety of types and reasonable prices.
