On February 25, a press conference was held in Hanoi to introduce the International Exhibition of Shipbuilding Technology and Offshore Construction - Vietship 2025. This is the largest and oldest maritime exhibition in Vietnam.
Vietship was first held in 2002 and has gone through 9 successful stages of organization. 2025 marks the return of this exhibition with a new look.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tien Dat - Deputy General Director of the Ship Industry Corporation (SBIC), Head of the Organizing Committee - said: "Vietship 2025 is expected to be a place to gather and display the most advanced technologies in the fields of new construction, repair of ships, maritime equipment, construction of marine works and technical supply of offshore works.
At the same time, the exhibition is a place to create cooperation opportunities and innovative solutions in the development of the maritime and energy industries offshore".
Vietship 2025 will take place from March 5-7, 2025 at the National Convention Center (Me Tri, Tu Liem, Hanoi). The exhibition has the participation of nearly 200 booths from 100 exhibitors, including 2 universities; 50% of Vietnamese enterprises; 50% of foreign enterprises from Norway, the Netherlands, China, Finland, Korea, Singapore.
In addition, the exhibition brings together a variety of exhibition areas such as means of transport and maritime services; maritime logistics services; design; inspection; consulting; maritime agents; equipment, materials and technology for new construction and repair of ships; equipment and technology for offshore oil and gas exploitation.
Within the framework of the exhibition, there will be activities: Vietship 2025 buyer forum; workshop on suppliers with the participation and exchange of domestic and foreign enterprises, shipyards, maritime inspection agencies; design consultancy, suppliers of materials and equipment...
Through the Vietship 2025 exhibition, the signing ceremony of contracts and cooperation agreements will also take place. This shows the extensive connection between partners, affirming the value of the exhibition up to now.
Vietship 2025 is not only an opportunity to introduce advanced technologies, but also plays a role as a bridge to promote international cooperation, contributing to enhancing Vietnam's position in the fields of maritime, shipbuilding technology and offshore construction.
