On the morning of June 10, the Market Management Department (QLTT) said that it had just coordinated with the Department of Investigation Police on Corruption, Economic and Smuggling Crimes (PC03), Hanoi City Police and a number of Market Management Teams, under the Hanoi Market Management Department, to simultaneously inspect 4 cosmetic businesses in Hanoi.
The inspection points are concentrated in Nam Tu Liem, Cau Giay districts and Son Tay town, including: Cosmetic business establishment No. 5 (No. 38 BT5, Xuan Phuong Ecological Urban Area, Nam Tu Liem); Linh Nam cosmetics - food facilities (No. 77, lane 59, Duong Khue, Cau Giay); 9 cosmetic facilities (lane 58, Tran Vy, Mai Dich, Cau Giay); and another establishment of Linh Nam at 67 Quang Trung, Son Tay town.

Business locations were still open to welcome guests as usual before the Inspection Team arrived. Records at the scene show that most of the customers at the businesses are people living in the surrounding area.
At the time of inspection, the business households presented to the Inspection Team the Business Registration Certificate and some valid invoices and documents of the business products at the store. However, the Working Group recorded a large quantity of tea mixed products among the legal goods.
Accordingly, after comparing invoices and excluding legal products, the Working Group temporarily seized nearly 3,500 cosmetic products such as shampoos, sunscreens, and skin creams, without invoices or documents, showing signs of being smuggled goods of unknown origin. The total value of the infringing goods was over 187 million VND.
For the above violation, it is expected that the total amount of administrative fines at business locations must be paid over 300 million VND.
According to Mr. Tran Viet Hung, Head of Market Management and Development Department, Market Management and Development Department, this is an activity within the series of measures to strengthen inspection and tighten management of the quality of goods circulating in the market of the Market Management force, especially for cosmetics and functional foods - a group of products that have a direct impact on consumer health if they do not ensure the origin and quality.
