On June 10, the Hanoi Market Management Department (QLTT) said that Market Management Team No. 2 had just inspected the cosmetics store of TINA Le Make Up Production and Investment Company Limited at 17 Hang Ca, Hang Dao Ward, Hoan Kiem District.
This is an activity within the peak period of the fight against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods, according to the direction in Official Dispatch No. 65/CD-TTg (May 15, 2025) and Directive No. 13/CT-TTg (May 17, 2025) of the Prime Minister.
At the time of inspection, Ms. Le Anh Thang - Director of the company was absent, authorizing Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Mai, store manager, to work with the inspection team. Through on-site inspection, the authorities discovered nearly 400 cosmetic products including eye pills, lip balms, soap, cheek powder, ice cream... showing signs of violations.
All goods are produced abroad, without Vietnamese sub-labeles, and the name and address of the organization/individual responsible for the product are not clearly stated. The store representative could not present invoices or documents proving their legal origin. The value of the listed shipment is more than 99 million VND.
Market Management Team No. 2 has drawn up a record, temporarily detaining the entire shipment to continue verifying, clarifying and handling according to legal regulations.
A representative of the market management force said that this is one of many inspections deployed to tighten market management, prevent smuggled goods and trade fraud in the field of cosmetics - goods that directly affect the health of consumers.
