    VietinBank accompanies Hanoi Metro to deploy a system of identification, biometric authentication and provide non-cash payment solutions for people traveling on the Cat Linh - Ha Dong urban railway line.

    On the morning of December 5, 2025, at the ceremony to announce the results of Plan 428, Hanoi Metro officially announced the implementation of the identification solution - biometric authentication and cashless payment for passengers taking the train. Specifically, all passengers using route 2A Cat Linh - Ha Dong will move through the automatic ticket gate with identification technology, electronic authentication, biometric identification and cashless payment.

    VietinBank - connecting finance & travel

    VietinBank cooperates with Hanoi Metro to integrate a cashless payment system, allowing passengers to scan their bank cards to pass through the ticket gate.

    Thanks to that, train passengers do not need to bring cash, paper tickets or personal cards - just need to scan the VietinBank Visa card to be able to board the train immediately. This solution is especially useful for people working, students and the elderly who want to use the metro every day.
