Accordingly, the project's implementation period was adjusted to the end of 2026. The reason for the adjustment is due to difficulties in site clearance, leading to the project not being completed according to the approved schedule.
Also in this decision, the City People's Committee assigned the City Civil Works Construction Investment Project Management Board (investor) to review and coordinate with localities where the route passes through to remove difficulties and obstacles in site clearance; clearly assign people, work, and responsibilities; develop detailed progress for site clearance and construction progress.

The People's Committees of Lang, O Cho Dua, Giang Vo wards will develop a detailed schedule to complete site clearance, to be completed before December 15, 2025.

The project to build Ring Road 1, Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section (old Dong Da district, now O Cho Dua ward, Lang, Giang Vo) is more than 2.2 km long, with a cross-section of 50 m. The starting point intersects with Cat Linh - La Thanh - Yen Lang road at Hoang Cau, the end point is at Voi Phuc intersection.
The project has a total investment of more than 7,200 billion VND from the city budget. The project was approved in December 2017 and was expected to be completed in 2020, but was behind schedule due to land acquisition problems.
