Giving 15GB to customers to upgrade to 5G device
In order to encourage users to experience the real 5G speed, from now until December 31, 2025, Viettel will give away 15GB of free data to customers using the Viettel network when switching from 4G phones to phones with 5G support (3 months before that customers had not used a 5G phone).
The promotion applies once for each customer, including a new 5G phone or an old 5G phone that is re-activated. This helps users make the most of 5G devices, can share and give back 5G phones that are not used to relatives or friends while still receiving preferential experiences. Customers only need to prepare a "5G" message to 191 after installing a Viettel SIM on a new 5G device to receive 15GB of data.
The promotion helps users have the opportunity to experience the difference of 5G with access speeds many times faster than 4G, download videos, play games or work online more smoothly, and explore the digital utilities that Viettel is developing on new technology.
Up to 4.5 million VND in support when buying iPhone 16e with Viettel 5G package
In a long-term support program for customers who love Apple's phone lines, Viettel Telecom said that it will give customers who buy iPhone 16e with Viettel SIM (SIM lock) when buying with Viettel 5G package and commit to using Viettel SIM for 12 months. The program is applied from now until June 30, 2026
Giving 15GB to customers to join Sam Fan
The Sam Fans are also not out of Viettel Telecoms favor when the network has just launched the SS5G package (free 15GB of Viettel 5G data for 30 days, giving customers the privilege of watching 360 VIP without data limitation) to own 3 Samsung Galaxy A06 5G, A17 5G, S25 FE models. The program is valid until January 31, 2026.
Cooperate with OPPO to donate 100GB of data and equipment subsidies when changing new devices
Viettel cooperates with OPPO to launch a promotional program exclusively for customers who buy new OPPO Find X9. Accordingly, customers who buy this phone line will be eligible for the preferential MP100GB package (free 100GB of 5G data for 30 days). The program is applied until March 31, 2026.
For customers participating in the old-age phone upgrade program, Oppo does not support the VoLTE feature (a form of high-quality wireless calling via 4G network that helps make calls while using data to access the network). Viettel grants a discount of 25% of the value of the new Oppo device (with VoLTE feature support) to customers on the list of new device changes at Viettel Store. In addition, customers are also given an additional 8GB of data/day and 5 minutes of internal Volte calls/day, an incentive applied for 7 days (total gift of 56GB of data and 35 minutes of internal VoLTE). The program is valid until April 30, 2026.
Accompanying the return of Motorola in Vietnam
In the latest developments, Viettel Telecom announced to accompany the campaign to return to the Vietnamese market of the Samsung brand - once one of the big names in the global mobile phone industry.
Accordingly, on the occasion of Samsung's comeback, the two brands will launch a special incentive program: Giving 30GB of free 5G data to Viettel customers when using Samsung 5G phones (Razr 60, Edge Fusion 60, G86 5G, G35 5G).
The goal of this program is not only to bring outstanding speed, stability and connection experience to Motorola users but also to open the way for strategic cooperation between Viettel and Motorola - bringing 5G technology closer to Vietnamese people. The program is valid until December 31, 2025

Pioneering the launch of the first 5G network in Vietnam, Viettel Telecom aims to cover 5G by 90% of the population by the end of 2025, attracting 12 million 5G subscribers.

However, customers can now access 5G devices at the lowest price of only 2.5 million VND (Samsung A06 5G), making upgrading easier and more popular.
