On the morning of November 24, a working delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front led by Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central organizations - visited, encouraged and presented support to people in flood-prone areas.
Here, Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc presented 150 million VND in emergency support to people affected by prolonged floods.


At the same time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province also presented 150 gifts to households severely affected.
Tuy An Dong commune is the area most deeply flooded in the recent flood.
Although there are no full statistics, local authorities said that thousands of houses, properties and crops were submerged in floodwaters.
For many days, Dak Lak provincial authorities had to mobilize maximum human and material resources to reach the villages, support evacuation and overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
During the working session at Tuy An Dong Commune People's Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central organizations kindly visited the health of people, especially the elderly and children - the most vulnerable subjects in floods.

Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc also conveyed his warmest greetings and sharing from the leaders of the Party and State and Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - to all people in the flooded areas of Tuy An Dong.
During the working trip, the delegation visited the family of Mr. Nguyen Duy Thanh and Ms. Le Thi Tra Mi, who live in Phu Thinh village - where a tragic incident had just occurred when their two young children were swept away by floodwaters.
Sharing the great pain of loss, Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc encouraged the family to overcome the difficult time soon, and at the same time requested the local government to continue to care for and support in a timely manner.

In addition to the joint gift, Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc also gave 50 million VND from the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund to Mr. Thanh - Ms. Mi's family directly to help the family stabilize their lives after the loss.
