The 5th season of the Viettel Digital Talent program is entering the final stage with the application deadline only until March 13, 2025.

Expected enrollment of nearly 500 talented candidates

Entering the 5th season, Viettel Digital Talent continues to expand its scale, creating conditions for students and trainees to research and orient their careers in 9 key technology fields: Cloud, Cyber Security, Data Science & AI, Internet of Things (IoT), 5G, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Aerospace and Semiconductor.

The program is expected to select nearly 500 excellent domestic and foreign candidates, of which 50% will be retained as official employees at Viettel Group.

The program is designed by leading experts of Viettel to help young talents exploit their potential and develop expertise in high-tech fields.

The highlight of the program is supporting students with funding, while providing opportunities to directly participate in key projects at Viettel's professional units - something rarely seen in many other technology internship programs on the market.

6-month journey of in-depth experience

In the first 3 months, students participating in the Talented Internship program (Viettel Digital Talent) will receive in-depth training and guidance and career orientation from leading domestic and foreign experts (Australia, USA, Singapore, Germany...) from universities and large technology corporations (Viettel, Google, Shopee...).

In the next 3 months, students will be able to directly participate in large-scale projects at Viettel's units. With the scale of Vietnam's leading technology group, Viettel brings students a professional, methodical experience but no less interactively with teambuilding activities, to exchange and connect with peer talents and seniors in the profession.

In 2025, the projects included in the program will be set up by the general board of directors of centers and units at Viettel, to ensure that the topics raised are all key problems, solving customer needs.

At the same time, the 2025 candidates are connected to the Viettel Digital Talent alumni community established with more than 4,000 members from key universities in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City and interns from previous seasons to receive direct consultation and take a competency test.

The program will also organize large-scale speaking activities at universities to share interview skills, complete documents and support candidates to supplement and perfect skills, and have better advantages when graduating.

Mr. Tao Duc Thang, Chairman and General Director of Viettel Group, shared: Viettel Digital Talent is not only to train personnel for Viettel but comes from the desire to train technology talents for the country, serving digital transformation. With the foundations and knowledge gained here, students will be able to shine wherever they are, in any field.

With the mission of pioneering digital transformation and becoming a global technology group, Viettel is investing strongly to improve the quality of human resources by improving the working environment and increasing the brand's attractiveness to talent in high-tech fields.

Viettel Digital Talent is an annual program implemented by Viettel since 2021, the program is part of the strategy of developing young human resources in the technology sector to carry out the pioneering mission, the main force in creating a digital society.

Official job opportunities in the Top 5 Best Places to Work in Vietnam

Viettel Digital Talent in 2024 has attracted more than 3,000 applications (1.5 times higher than in 2023). The Organizing Committee has selected 179 candidates for training and internships in key projects of Viettel's member units. Of which, 40% of ideas coming out of the program have been applied in practice at Viettel, and are bringing positive values to customers and the community.

At the end of the program, more than 101 excellent students were officially signed labor contracts to work at Viettel, 2.5 times higher than in season 3, and enjoyed benefits equivalent to those of graduated employees.

In the recently announced Top 100 Best Places to Work in Vietnam 2024 ranking, Viettel is the only 100% state-owned enterprise in the top 5, which affirms the difference in working culture as well as a working environment with many challenges and opportunities for young people. Viettel is also the only state-owned corporation in Vietnam to receive Great Place to Work certification.
