Therefore, when I listened to the shop's advice, I decided to experience it, if it was suitable, I would use it for a long time".
As one of the first customers to experience E10 gasoline in Hai Phong, Mr. Pham Van Hoan, a taxi driver, said that Mr. Hoan has been using E5 gasoline for a long time and until now, when he has E10 RON 95 gasoline, he still believes in using it because of the economy of this fuel line. "E10 gasoline is expected to replace other types of gasoline on the market, so I am completely confident when using it" - Mr. Hoan said.
The first time hearing about E10 gasoline, Ms. Nguyen Thi May, a motorbike driver, shared: "My motorbike still has a quantity of RON 95 gasoline in the bottle but I want to add more. Along with major cities such as Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, in Hai Phong, the two pilot points for selling E10 gasoline from August 1 are PV OIL Thanh To gas station (Lot CC2 of Thanh To project, Hai An ward) and Tan Duong gas station (village 1, Thuy Nguyen ward). Previously, these two stores converted the previous E5 RON 92 gasoline stations to E10 RON 95 gasoline; at the same time, they still ensure the business of RON 95 gasoline and other products. The retail price of E10 RON 95 gasoline on the morning of August 1 was VND 19,600/liter, VND 200/liter higher than E5 gasoline and VND 240/liter lower than RON95 -III mineral gasoline.
E10 gasoline has a 10% biological eth ethnic group mixed with 90% mineral gasoline, which is considered a feasible solution to reduce CO2 emissions. According to the Government's roadmap, E10 gasoline will gradually replace mineral gasoline in the market. According to PV OIL representative, as soon as the E10 gasoline sale pilot was piloted in Hanoi and Hai Phong, the unit implemented the E10 RON95 gasoline mixing plan in Da Nang and Quang Ngai.
It is expected that in August 2025, PV OIL will process the processing for customers who are unit enterprises, and retail E10 gasoline at PV OIL gas station system in the Central region. After the pilot phase, the unit will continue to evaluate, upgrade, convert and develop the E10 gasoline point, ready for the E10 usage roadmap from 2026.
