Automatic rearview mirror and rear window defogger
When driving or parking in the rain, it is inevitable that water will condense on the rearview mirror and rear window, limiting the driver's visibility. This makes traffic unsafe when there are vehicles approaching that the driver cannot see, increasing the risk of collision.
Therefore, the car needs to be equipped with automatic mirror and rear window defrosting features. Otherwise, before moving, the driver needs to clean the rear window and rearview mirror to avoid unnecessary risks.
Hill start assist and hill descent control
When driving on steep or mountainous terrain in the event of a storm, if the engine stalls, it is very easy to drift, causing danger. The Hill Start Assist (HSA) feature will help the driver control the steering wheel better in such situations. When the driver moves from the brake pedal to the accelerator, the system will help stabilize the vehicle by holding it in place for up to 3 seconds.
Hill Descent Control allows the vehicle to go downhill and downhill more safely, this feature will be combined with the anti-lock braking system (ABS). When hill descent control is turned on, the driver can confidently drive down steep slopes without having to control the brake and accelerator pedals.
Blind spot warning
The technology will use radar sensors to help drivers see other vehicles along the sides of the vehicle and alert the driver with a yellow LED icon displayed on the exterior mirror, accompanied by an audible warning.
Rear Cross Traffic Alert
When driving in a storm , the driver's visibility will be poor in front of the windshield and on both sides of the car. This is when the rear cross-traffic alert feature will come into play. This technology uses radar sensors to warn the driver of vehicles passing by when the car is backing out of a parking space. Visual and audio warnings are activated if a vehicle is detected moving towards the car.
Lane Keeping Assist System
Driving in the rain, especially on the highway, makes it harder for drivers to see their lanes. Lane Departure Warning is designed to help avoid collisions caused by unintentional lane departure. The system will provide an audible or visual warning if it detects the vehicle crossing a lane marking without using its turn signal in that direction.
In addition to the above technologies, some important features needed when driving during the rainy season are traction control, electronic stability control and electronic brake force distribution,...
