From online feedback, fines for trucks carrying bulky goods in Ninh Binh

Ninh Binh - Traffic police verify and fine drivers who drive trucks carrying goods exceeding the width of the truck bed, and at the same time deduct points from driver's licenses according to regulations.

On April 9, Ninh Binh Provincial Police said that Road Traffic Police Team No. 4 had just verified and handled a case of a truck carrying goods exceeding the width of the truck bed.

Previously, on April 7, a video appeared on some social networking sites of a truck with license plate 18C-153. xx traveling on National Highway 21 in Hai Hau commune, Ninh Binh province and carrying goods exceeding the width of the truck bed.

Immediately after grasping the information, the leaders of the Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police directed Road Traffic Police Team No. 4 to organize verification, clarification, and strictly handle the case according to the provisions of law.

Through investigation and verification, Road Traffic Police Team No. 4 identified the driver of the truck as N.V.D (born in 1978, residing in Minh Thai commune, Ninh Binh province).

During the working process, driver N.V.D admitted to driving a truck carrying goods exceeding the width of the truck bed as in the video posted on social networks.

Based on the provisions of law, Road Traffic Police Team No. 4 made a record of administrative violation for the act of carrying goods exceeding the width of the truck bed for driver N.V.D, the fine is 900,000 VND; minus 2 points on the driver's license.
