The inspirational journey
"Go, I'll die tomorrow" is a popular saying among young people. Originally a Rap line in the song " cho toi lang thang" by Denau va Ngot, released 4 years ago, this line was used by young people as a reminder to act immediately, do not hesitate.
This statement appears more and more dense on social networks, especially in the days close to April 30. The versions of the young people spread each other: "Go to you, hesitate, in 10 years to see the parade"; "Go away, hesitant, the end of the ceremony"; "Go away, only once a year" ...
Not only the cheerful sayings on the internet, the journeys of real people and real events have inspired young people to set out, towards the joyful day of national unity.
The 1,300km motorbike journey of veteran Tran Van Thanh, 76, departed from Nghe An from April 17 to Ho Chi Minh City to watch the parade. With simple belongings including a pot, a pot, clothes and a blanket, a stove, and a national flag tied to the rear saddle, Mr. Thanh's journey was watched and admired by millions of people.
Previously, Dao Quang Ha's cycling journey across Vietnam from Thai Binh to Ho Chi Minh City on the occasion of the festival also brought many emotions to those watching. The 24-year-old man's bicycle is a souvenir left by his grandfather, of the Thong Nhat brand, not a specialized bicycle for long routes and carries many great spiritual values.
Continuously following these two impressive journeys every day, Nguyen Thi Bao Ngoc (22 years old, Nghe An) could not hide her feelings: "The journey of the 76-year-old man or Mr. Quang Ha and other special journeys, can be different in age or circumstances. But what I admire most is the spirit of daring to go, daring to live wholeheartedly for something meaningful".
Therefore, the young female tourist also decided to ask her parents for permission to take a meaningful trip of youth with her younger sister. Nghe An girl arranged her work to fly to Ho Chi Minh City from Vinh City on the afternoon of April 29 to see the parade on the morning of April 30.
Having missed the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory in May 2024, Bao Ngoc is determined to be present at the upcoming grand ceremony and is even ready to prepare for the 80th Anniversary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on September 2, 2025.

A new milestone in life
Also deciding to be in Ho Chi Minh City on April 29, Ms. Tran Thi Hong Linh (25 years old, Quang Ninh) even determined that she would have to "los money" to attend an important day of the country.
Having planned and booked air tickets and rooms for her trip to Da Lat during the long holiday, the female tourist quickly "turned around" and would choose to take a bus to Ho Chi Minh City to watch the parade.
"My original schedule was to take a week off from April 28 to May 5, play in Da Lat, then rent a motorbike to see the sea of Vinh Hy, Mui Ne, Buon Ma Thuot. Since February, I have bought a round-trip ticket from Da Lat to Hanoi and it was not until April that I learned about the parade. I changed my plan in just 5 minutes, Hong Linh expressed.
On the day of tomorrow in Da Lat, she will continue to sit in a bus for another 8 hours to run at night. After watching the parade, at noon on April 30, the female tourist will return to Da Lat and continue her trip.
Due to the sudden change in schedule, Hong Linh canceled rooms in Nha Trang and Vinh Hy Bay, incurring additional costs for buses and other allowances, estimated at about 2 - 3 million VND, in Ho Chi Minh City. However, the young female tourist happily said: "This trip started out of patriotism".
In the bustling atmosphere of preparing for the April 30th grand festival, Nguyen Phuong Anh (19 years old, Hanoi) also decided to spend 15 million VND to urgently book a pair of round-trip air tickets to Ho Chi Minh City. This trip will be the first solo flight of the second-year female student.
Ms. Phuong Anh said: "I just thought about it the day before, and did it the next day, so maybe I didn't need to prepare much for this trip, a little money, a little clothes and a beautiful soul to attend the festival. Because I myself do not aim for the purpose of traveling, but only want to witness beautiful moments on the upcoming April 30".
Affirming that she is a " branched" Gen Z, Phuong Anh does not regret her decision, and will even buy a plane ticket to Ho Chi Minh City at any price. When she saw the articles shared on social networks, she was happy to see the national pride of her peers and was even more proud of the generation of our ancestors who heroically sacrificed for the independence and peace of the country.
Although she was a bit worried about her first flight without a companion or relatives in Ho Chi Minh City, Phuong Anh was ready for the trip.
Im still young, lets just go! If you hesitate, you won't know when you will dare to do it. I also found some compatriots from the North to come and have formed a group of 15 people, including those from the South, to share the great joy of the nation, Phuong Anh confided.
