" phuted" by plum blossoms
Although he has been "hunting" for plum blossoms in Moc Chau for the past three years, this year, perhaps Dang Doan Sang (31 years old, Quang Ninh) was the most overwhelmed. Because, Moc Chau is in the blooming season all over the hillsides, flowers crowded in clusters on the branches, covering the young potholes...
Knowing the plum blossom season through groups sharing about domestic travel on social networks, Doan Sang continuously follows the flower blooming situation every year so as not to miss the most beautiful season of the year in the plateau.
He recalled: "The first year I went "hunting" for plum blossoms was in 2022. At that time, all travel and transportation were still limited due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic. If visitors want to admire and take photos with flowers, they must follow the following regulations: PCR testing and declaring their accommodation to the locality.
Unable to contain my excitement for the beautiful plum blossom season like in fairy tales, I still decided to go. From then until now, I have become a "addicted" to plum blossoms. Every time the plum blossoms bloom, I try to arrange time to come and see them.
Just like Mr. Sang also took the opportunity to visit the plum garden during the Lunar New Year, Ms. Pham Thi Huong (34 years old, Hai Duong) frankly showed off that she had "won the world" - in the joyful way of today's youth - when she admired the most beautiful plum blossom season in recent years with her own eyes. The first time "hunting" for flowers, the weather was supportive, the weather was beautiful and there was golden sunshine, the female tourist was very satisfied with her 2-day, 1-night trip in Moc Chau.
The three most popular and popular plum "hunting" locations for plum blossoms are Na Ka valley, Mu nau valley and Pa Phach village. Many tourists, even though they have been to many places, still have to nod in agreement that the plum blossom season in the Northwest mountains and forests is surprisingly beautiful. Taking a cup of hot tea in the chilly weather, breathing a long, refreshing breath, the feeling of peace comes as gentle and gentle as the fresh aroma of white plum blossoms.
With his annual experience in "hunting" for flowers, Mr. Sang has distinguished between two types of plum blossoms that he took a photo of during his recent trip. "The common thing is that they all bloom white and are very beautiful; however, if you look closely, you will see that each type has a different beauty," the male tourist revealed.
The plum blossoms have straight branches, the flowers bloom in clusters of branches like cotton candy blooming to the top. When taking photos, Mr. Sang saw the plum blossom tree in the shape of a cherry tree in Korea and Japan.
The plow plant variety has a crab branch that is similar to the wild peach branch, the flowers grow in clusters smaller than the peach blossom. In the eyes of the male tourist, the p plum blossoms have a more wild beauty than the rice plum blossoms, and are painted with more Northwest flavor.

The media effect was multiplied many times when images and videos of the Moc Chau plum blossom season appeared on all social networking platforms from the beginning of February until now. Before that, in the cherry blossom season, Moc Chau was only crowded on weekends.
Mr. Vu Trung Hai - owner of Bich Hanh Tourist Garden, said: "My family has opened the plum blossom garden to welcome guests for 3 years now, but this is the year the plum blossoms are most beautiful and attract the most visitors. The average price of homestay rooms is from 600,000 - 800,000 VND, not increasing compared to other months of the year.
On average, my family's plum garden welcomes 800 - 1,000 visitors per day. In the last 2 peak weeks, revenue has reached 300 - 500 million VND. However, the plum blossom season is expected to last about 10 more days. After the plum blossom season, when the trees are in fruit, we still collect a ticket to the gate for 30,000 VND for visitors to visit and take photos as well as serve the needs of picking fruit, eating on the spot, buying as gifts.
In addition, gardeners also cooperate with stores to rent ethnic costumes for 50,000 - 250,000 VND/set, makeup and take photos on the spot for visitors. Many couples also take advantage of the blooming plum blossom season to take wedding photos here.
