From roles to the perception of married life
When mentioning Quynh Kool, audiences often immediately remember roles with psychological depth. The maturity through each character shows Quynh Kool's "maturity" in the profession. After the mature images of Hanh in "Don't be a grumpy mother", of Nguyet in the movie "We of 8 years later" or Hong Ha in the movie "Hanoi in my eyes", audiences have many debates about the role of young lady Hoang Lam, a child, or sulking in "Wind across the blue sky". Is the change in style and image your intention in the past year?
- For me, challenging and accepting a new role is both a predestined relationship and a careful consideration. Each role with a different color will make the audience focus on the character, on the story. For me, Hoang Lam is a very interesting and very lovely role. I am also very happy because everyone has accompanied Hoang Lam throughout the journey of "Wind across the blue sky" airing. The movie ends and still leaves me with many beautiful memories.
The role of Hoang Lam in the movie "Wind across the blue sky" is a girl with a childish personality even though she has started a family, experiencing stumbles that almost broke down her marriage before she knew how to cherish her home more. How does the role influence your way of seeing love in real life?
- This role helps me realize that married life comes from very small, very ordinary things in life. From strangers to loved ones, then to relatives is the companionship and effort to nurture from two separate individuals. Therefore, we ourselves must both correct ourselves, and be tolerant and sympathetic to each other. Only then can we build a family.
How do you accept the mixed reviews from the audience about the role?
- I really appreciate the contributions of the audience. I read and learn from all the comments of praise and criticism for myself.
Many viewers noticed that Quynh Kool looked different, gained weight more. Can you share the reason for this change and what is your current state of weight retention?
- For each character, the director and I have explanations and build character shaping. For Lam in the movie "Wind ngang khoang troi xanh", being a little "round" is more suitable for her lifestyle and personality. However, in the later stages there were many upheavals, so Lam also lost weight. Therefore, I always try to follow closely to ensure that the character shaping is consistent and reasonable.
A year of peace and the concept of love
Looking back at the past year, what is the thing you feel most grateful for in life?
- What makes me most grateful is that I and my family are still always here together. All my loved ones are healthy, happy and accompany each other through each day.
Quynh Kool once shared that she lives introverted and loves peace. What would your ideal day be like?
- My ideal day is to sleep until I wake up, then enjoy a light meal and sip a cup of tea next to my favorite book.
In addition to acting, do you have any special habits or hobbies that help regenerate energy?
- For me, it is to rest, eat what I like and read new books.
The public sees that you are more mature in your statements about love. At the present time, how do you define a "ripe" love?
- At the present time, for me, coordination is the most important thing.
Many love rumors have appeared around you, especially when acting with male co-stars. How do you handle those rumors?
- Usually when filming and receiving a lot of attention and follow, I also often encounter love rumors. However, when the film ends, people gradually stop discussing and only keep memories of the characters. Therefore, I do not see the need to correct or handle anything else.
If you have to choose between a career of sublimation and complete love, what is more important to you at this time?
- As an adult approaching the "third head", I hope to have both, not choose one of the two.
What do you expect from a relationship in the future? Companionship, sharing or something else?
- For me, at this stage, what I want most is companionship, plus sympathy and sharing in life.
If you could choose a completely different role from your current image, what kind of character would you like to try?
- For me, is that a super villain role...!?
Quynh Kool of next year, what kind of version do you want?
- Next year I hope I will have good health to bring to the audience a truly different version on the small screen.
What innovations do you expect the audience to see from you in the upcoming projects?
- I really hope to continue to be followed and supported by the audience. That is both joy, pride and also a source of motivation for me to always work hard.
