Family becomes more connected from out-of-town meals

Amidst the busy pace of life, family meals are still a precious time for family members to gather and share after a day of work and study. However, according to many families, occasionally changing the space with a meal outside is also a way to refresh emotions and increase connection between family members.

The family of Ms. Vu Thi Tuyet (45 years old, Hung Yen) is an example. Because they live with their grandparents, most of the meals during the week are prepared at home to ensure nutrition and convenience for the whole family. However, Ms. Tuyet still maintains the habit of taking the whole family out for meals once or twice a week. According to her, changing the dining space brings a feeling of relaxation, helping everyone temporarily put aside their busy daily tasks to spend more time together.

I think eating out will be a time for the whole family to sit down together, talk about new topics and connect with each other more through conversations. Everyone has the opportunity to share things that happen in life that at home sometimes because of being busy, they don't have the opportunity to say everything," Ms. Tuyet shared.

Ms. Tuyet added that when they no longer have to rush to prepare or clean up after meals, members have more time to fully enjoy moments together. Stories about work, study or upcoming plans are also shared more naturally and openly.

According to her, a meal at a restaurant does not need to be too elaborate or expensive. The important thing is that the whole family can experience a new space together, enjoy favorite dishes and create more beautiful memories.

Occasionally changing the atmosphere with an extra meal will help everyone feel more comfortable. After stressful study and work hours, the whole family can relax together, chat and understand each other more. That is also a way for family members to strengthen their relationship," Ms. Tuyet said.

Simple activities such as eating together, chatting together, or sharing everyday stories all contribute to nurturing understanding, creating a solid foundation for family happiness.
