Nguyen Van Hau always believes that people must live responsibly, must contribute to protecting and building the country. All works by Nguyen Van Hau include: "Vietnam's three great traditions", "Vietnam's experience", "Thoai Ngoc Hau" and the explorations of Hau Giang, "Half a month in That Son", "Vietnamese fell", "The wedding of servants Nguyen Huu Canh" are written in very rustic and familiar voices, expressing affection for the homeland and a strong sense of responsibility. Nguyen Van Hau believes that between the new and the old, the scientific and the spiritual, there is nothing that should be kept or completely abandoned. "Thoai Ngoc Hau and the explorations of Hau Giang" is a work that researcher Nguyen Van Hau has worked hard on for many years, with a rich source of documents. The book clearly depicts the portrait of Thoai Ngoc Hau, the national hero who made great contributions to the exploitation, opening up and developing the economy of Hau Giang.

"The Ceremony of Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh" is a book about the famous generals of the Minh Dynasty, who made great contributions to the arrangement and organization of the rule of the large Southern region. Because of this achievement, he was worshiped by people in many places in the South and stories about him have been passed down to this day.

"Half a month in the That Son region" is a special work by Nguyen Van Hau, bringing a journey of profound and enchanting discovery of the land of That Son, a famous area with seven sacred mountains located in the Southwest.

Nguyen Van Hau (1922 - 1995), a writer and researcher of Vietnamese culture and history, is famous for his research on the Southern region. He comes from a Confucian family and lives in An Giang.

In 1952, he began teaching, writing for newspapers and books. He wrote for many newspapers in Saigon with diverse topics. From 1960 to 1968, he participated in writing textbooks on Secondary School Literature with many other authors. In 1971, he began teaching Literature at Hoa Hao University in An Giang. He passed away in 1995, leaving behind his last work, the book series "Literature of the Southern Luc Province".

Although he is a teacher, throughout his life, he has continuously held a pen and released many valuable works. With his love for his homeland, country and the process of building the country of his father, his books are research works on many topics such as history, people, religion and literature.

Along with Son Nam, Vuong Hong Sen, Binh Nguyen Loc... Nguyen Van Hau is considered one of the leading writers - researchers on the land and people of the Southwest region. He is famous for his rustic, easy-to- read, easy-to-understand writing style and has very unique characteristics, close to everyone.
