Nguyen Van Hau always believes that people must live responsibly, must contribute to protecting and building the country. His books are a small contribution in thoughts and actions to that great cause. "There is no place other than us. nor did they borrow from us. Nguyen Van Hau took from Vietnamese history, Vietnamese traditions, and Vietnamese literature to learn lessons for future generations to follow.
Through his works, he wants to convey to posterity the love of the homeland, country and people of Vietnam, pride in the achievements of our ancestors, and valuable experiences to help the S-shaped land continue to thrive.

Nguyen Van Hau (1922 - 1995), a writer and researcher of Vietnamese culture and history, is famous for his research on the Southern region. He comes from a Confucian family and lives in An Giang.
In 1952, he began teaching, writing for newspapers and books. He wrote for many newspapers in Saigon with diverse topics. From 1960 to 1968, he participated in writing textbooks on Secondary School Literature with many other authors. In 1971, he began teaching Literature at Hoa Hao University in An Giang. He passed away in 1995, leaving behind his last work, the book series "Literature of the Southern Luc Province".
Although he is a teacher, throughout his life, he has continuously held a pen and released many valuable works. With his love for his homeland, country and the process of building the country of his father, his books are research works on many topics such as history, people, religion and literature.
