Commending to encourage the children's eagerness to learn
Last June, the Hanoi Labor Federation organized a series of 5 companion programs in localities, giving gifts to more than 400 children in difficult circumstances and commending more than 700 children who won high prizes in city, national, and international excellent student exams who are children of union members and workers in the Capital. This is the deep concern of the Trade Union organization for children of union members and workers, contributing to sharing difficulties, encouraging them to rise up in their studies, and also for their parents to feel secure in their work.
According to the Hanoi Labor Federation, in the 2025-2026 school year, children of workers, civil servants, and laborers in the Capital continue to achieve many outstanding achievements. Many children have overcome difficult circumstances, strived to study, and won high prizes in excellent student exams at all levels. These results are proof of the spirit of studiousness, the will to rise up of the children, and also reflect the sacrifice of families, the dedication of teachers and the practical companionship of the Trade Union organization.
In the program organized in Dong Da ward - the closing point of the series of 5 companion programs, the Hanoi Labor Federation commended 155 students who won prizes in city-level excellent student competitions in the 2025 - 2026 school year; presented 130 gifts to children of workers and employees in difficult circumstances. In addition, the City Labor Federation presented 93 reading and learning English markers and a set of digital technology books to 93 children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances belonging to Emulation Clusters No. 1, 2 and 3.
This is part of a program to support 400 sets of learning equipment donated by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to create conditions for workers' children to access modern learning methods.
Each gift not only carries material value but also contains the feelings, beliefs and expectations of the Trade Union organization for the future generation of the Capital. Thereby, contributing to adding motivation for children to nurture dreams, train personality, develop abilities, become citizens with knowledge, responsibility and aspiration to contribute. In particular, these gifts and encouragement will add strength as well as encourage children of union members and workers to study more passionately.
Let's fly high with your dreams
Flying high dreams" - one of the annual activities of the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union to commend children of officials, employees and workers throughout the system for their good academic achievements. Thereby, both encouraging the spirit and creating motivation for children to study, and adding strength for parents to feel secure in their work.
Every year, the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union organizes programs in 3 regions: North, Central, and South. In this activity, the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union also awards the "Accompanying you to school" Scholarship. In particular, in each place, children participate in collective activities, experience many useful and interesting games; and have the opportunity to express themselves and share experiences in maintaining excellent academic achievements.
It is worth mentioning that at each enterprise, the encouragement of the learning spirit of workers' children is implemented in a variety of forms. For example, at May 10 Corporation - JSC, the ceremony to commend excellent students in the 2025-2026 school year for children of officials and employees was organized with the presence of representatives of the Corporation's Board of Directors, the Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Trade Union, the Youth Union, and leaders of units. This activity aims to recognize and commend outstanding academic achievements and continue to spread the beauty of human culture of the enterprise. In the 2025-2026 school year, the entire Corporation had 2,119 students who achieved the title of excellent students being commended. Not only were they awarded encouragement prizes, but they also visited the Thang Long Imperial Citadel Relic Site, exchanged and celebrated......
It can be seen that the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union always considers accompanying, encouraging and creating conditions for workers' children to study and train as a long-term, persistent and continuous task. It is not only an investment in the present, but also a preparation for the future. When they are comprehensively educated and developed, they will become responsible citizens, know how to take control of their lives, love their families and be filial to their parents.
According to Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tam - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union, whether overcoming difficulties or overcoming happiness, each example of the children is worthy of recognition and respect. Each child is a typical representative of all levels of education, in addition to improving their knowledge, skills, understanding, and sharing, the achievements they have achieved help them build a better learning and training environment with friends around them, become exemplary citizens in the family and society. Trade union officials and workers in the textile and garment industry are also parents, who have obligations to their families and raise their children. Although there are still many difficulties, everyone dedicates the best things to their children, helping them develop themselves, study, grow up, and build a solid future.
