That is the song "Following the story of peace" by musician Nguyen Van Chung, the song suddenly became a strong phenomenon, resounding in parades, celebrations, team activities and millions of videos on social networks. That proud melody is not only a harmony of the heroic past, but also a bell to awaken the responsibility of today's youth - those who are and will continue to write the future of a country that has been too fragrant with war.
My friend and thousands of others have "updated" on social media images of wearing white ao dai, holding a red flag with a yellow star, standing in front of the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh with the background of the song "Continuing the story of peace". I also witnessed children only about 5 - 6 years old clams singing: "Forge a story of peace with me/ See your homeland bright in the dawn".
When music touches the national spirit, it will create strength. "For the country to be happy from there, to make the red color of the freely flag ..." - The simple lyrics that penetrate the heart of millions of listeners, especially the younger generation. In the intense melody, the song aroused gratitude to the ancestors, to the fathers, mothers, and brothers who fell for a peaceful Vietnam. But not stopping at the memory, "Writing the peace story" also set an important message: History does not close at the victory day, but is being continued in every step of the generation today.
Peace is not a gift from heaven, nor is it a natural thing in the flow of history. Peace is the result of the sacrifices and struggles of previous generations.
Today's Vietnamese youth - those born when the country was a long stretch, no more bombs and bullets - can grow up in peacetime but should not forget that the world is always full of unstable seeds. Looking at the world, there are still many conflicts in many places that have just begun to permeate: The spirit of peacekeeping - both in terms of sovereignty, lifestyle and culture - needs to be preserved and continued.

I once asked: "So what should the young generation do and how to do it to continue writing the story of peace".
I went to look for that solution and found it very clearly in the article "The future for the generation to reach out" of General Secretary To Lam on the 94th anniversary of the establishment of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2025). The General Secretary wrote: “The maturity, sustainability, even the destiny of the country depends heavily on the youth forces and the younger generation. In the holy resistance wars of the nation against the imperialist, foreign invasion, freedom, protection of the integrity of sovereignty and sacred territory of the Fatherland, millions of young people have dedicated the youth to the youth" Death to the Fatherland of birth ".
