The great miserable paintings, brightly glowing with glowing yellow, not only recreate the sacred moments of the nation, but also affirm the patriotism of today's young generation.
9x artist returns to their roots
Born in 1995 in a family attached to art, Chu Nhat Quang soon nurtured his love of painting. After 7 years of studying abroad, Quang had the opportunity to interact with many modern art flows, but it was the time away from home that urged him to return to tradition. Quang shared: "The years away from home help me feel more eager to return to my roots, to realize the profound value of traditional Vietnamese art, especially lacquer".
Facing the temptation of many easy options, he still chose lacquer, a material that requires patience and meticulousness. For him, there is no material more suitable than lacquer to express his own ideas and emotions.
What made his own mark was his courage to challenge himself with large-scale paintings, as well as the trend of using recycled materials. Quang explained: Sized paint is a durable material, when combined with the spirit of recycling, it not only tells an artistic story but also evokes a sense of green living, sustainable living.
At the age of 30, Chu Nhat Quang has shaped for himself a style that both inherits tradition and breathes a modern breath. For him, painting is not only a personal creation, but also the responsibility of the younger generation in extending historical memories through art.

Independence Spring painting exhibition
The exhibition "Spring for Independence" was held in Hanoi on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2. This is not only an art exhibition, but also an 8-year journey told in lacquer language.
The 17 works in the exhibition recreate a series of sacred symbols: Ba Dinh Square, Ham Rong Bridge, Truong Son Street on fire, or landmarks in the sea of Truong Sa and Hoang Sa islands. Through each layer of paint, yellow and silver, the public feels the fierceness of war, the strong will of the army and people and the pride in victory.
In the exhibition space, the two-sided painting "Uncle Ho reading the Declaration of Independence" became a special highlight, attracting all eyes. Quang said: "Every stage to create a painting requires meticulousness and carefulness. Making paintings on both sides is also a challenge, because it requires balance in both layout and processing techniques, so that each side of the painting when standing independently has the ability to express, but when placed next to each other, they complement each other".
On one side is the image of President Ho Chi Minh in a gentle position, holding the Declaration of Independence with a voice that resounds from the historic Ba Dinh Square. On the other side, the sea of people brilliant with red flags and yellow stars celebrating in the overwhelming happiness of the birth of the country. The two images are placed in parallel, supplementing each other as two sides of an example: One side is the leader reading the national birth speech, the other side is the people with the joy of independence.
The layer of gold plates and sparkling silver plates makes the painting not only honor the sacredness of the moment of September 2, 1945, but also evoke the eternal feeling of light shining throughout 80 years of history. There, Quang not only recreated the event, but also sent a profound message: Independence comes not only from the Declaration but also from the strength of solidarity, from the consensus of the whole nation.
Therefore, the work is considered the soul of the exhibition "Independence Spring", where traditional lacquer art combines with modern creative ideas, reviving an immortal moment in the minds of Vietnamese people.
In addition, works such as: Overcoming Truong Son, Nguyen Ai Quoc, Nguyen Ai Quocs Journey depict the journey from the hardships of resistance war to the day of unity and peace. Quang said that he wanted the exhibition to end with a beautiful and complete ending through the two works "National Spring" and "Peaceful Land", where the North - Central - South converged. That message is both a historical memory and a reminder today: Peace and independence are the result of many generations that have sacrificed.
With this exhibition, Chu Nhat Quang shows that art can become a bridge between the past and the present. His paintings not only beautify history with a glowing glow, but also light up the belief that today's young generation of Vietnam knows how to listen, preserve and continue the aspiration for independence and freedom for future generations.
I hope the public will accept the exhibition as an effort of a young person towards the history of his homeland and country and preserving the traditional art of the nation - Quang said emotionally.
Indeed, the exhibition "Independence Spring" not only has artistic value, but also evokes self-respect
commend, arousing patriotism in the hearts of viewers.
