On the afternoon of August 29, the Chau Doc City Labor Federation (LCF) solemnly awarded the 29th Ton Duc Thang Scholarship to 21 children of union members , workers, and laborers who overcame difficulties to study well.
On this occasion, Chau Doc City Labor Federation also presented 55 “Support to go to school” gifts to union members’ children in difficult circumstances. It is known that the total value of gifts and scholarships is over 70 million VND.
Also within the framework of this event, the Chau Doc City Labor Federation and the Hoc Mon District Labor Federation (Ho Chi Minh City) signed a cooperation program for the period 2023-2028 with many practical contents supporting each other in Union activities and workers' movements.
Accordingly, the two sides shared experiences on the role of the Trade Union in launching and nurturing patriotic emulation movements; participating in dialogue work, negotiation skills, bargaining, signing collective labor agreements, skills in handling labor disputes, strikes, collective work stoppages, etc. Thereby, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises.
On this occasion, the Hoc Mon District Labor Federation also supported 40 gifts worth 32 million VND (800,000 VND/gift) for the Chau Doc City Labor Federation to organize and give to 20 union members, workers, and laborers in difficult circumstances and 20 children of union members who have overcome difficulties to study well.
