The Hai Duong City Labor Federation (LDLD) has just announced the end of the activities of grassroots trade unions in the administrative and career sector and awarded prizes to collectives and individuals in the education sector with outstanding achievements in the school year.
The arrangement of grassroots trade unions is implemented under the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the guidance of the Provincial Federation of Labor, in order to implement the policy of streamlining the apparatus in the spirit of the Central Resolution.
According to the approved plan, grassroots trade unions in administrative agencies, public service units, wards and communes receiving 100% of salaries from the state budget will cease operations. Grassroots trade unions not included in this list will be transferred to the Provincial Federation of Labor for management.
The Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation has announced the decision to terminate the operations of the remaining 62 grassroots trade unions and transfer the remaining 218 grassroots trade unions. This is an important step in the process of reorganizing the Trade Union system, ensuring compliance with practical conditions after the merger of administrative units and in accordance with the innovation orientation of the Trade Union organization.
According to the leader of the Hai Duong City Labor Federation, streamlining the organization is not only an administrative requirement, but also an opportunity to strengthen the organizational system in a streamlined and efficient manner. Thereby, improving the quality of Trade Union activities, better ensuring the legitimate and legal rights of union members and workers and strengthening the attachment between union members and their representative organizations in the new development stage.
