At Xuong Giang Ward Industrial Cluster Trading and Trading Company Limited, Bac Giang City, the City Labor Federation in coordination with the Organizing - Inspection Committee and the Propaganda - Women's Union of Bac Giang Provincial Labor Federation has just organized a training conference to foster trade union work, promote gender equality and prevent domestic violence. More than 200 union officials and workers at the enterprise attended.
At the conference, union officials and workers were informed about the contents, Resolution of the Trade Union Congress, methods of operation of grassroots trade unions; rights and responsibilities of grassroots trade union officials, contents of methods of operation, conditions for ensuring activities for grassroots trade union officials, rights and responsibilities of union members.
Delegates also heard the propaganda of the Law on Gender Equality, Prevention of Domestic Violence, to gradually improve the knowledge, attitude, and practical skills of workers on gender equality and reproductive health care, family planning, helping female workers know how to take care of themselves, equip themselves with basic knowledge of the Law on Gender Equality; prevent domestic violence.
Workers also exchanged some behavioral skills in the family, how to handle conflicts between family members, and answer opinions...
This activity contributes to helping workers protect their legitimate rights and interests, union officials and business leaders to ensure jobs, further improve the lives of workers, and build harmonious, stable and progressive relationships in enterprises.
