On the evening of February 14 (ie, December 27 of the year At Ty), at a boarding house in Nenh ward, Bac Ninh province, a delegation of the province led by Comrade Nguyen Thi Huong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee visited, wished Tet, and encouraged union members and workers who do not have the conditions to return to their hometowns to celebrate the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.
Also participating in the working delegation were comrades: Thach Van Chung - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Provincial Party Committee Member, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee Office, Provincial Police, Provincial Labor Federation, Party committees, local authorities and 50 union members and workers who are working and living in the area, who have to stay on duty and work throughout Tet.
Speaking at the program, Comrade Nguyen Thi Huong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee sent warm greetings and best New Year wishes to all union members and workers.
The comrade emphasized that Tet is an occasion for family reunions and reunions, but many workers, due to working conditions and circumstances, have chosen to stay at work and not return to their hometowns for Tet. This is a silent sacrifice but very commendable, showing the spirit of responsibility, overcoming difficulties and the will to rise up in life.
Comrade Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee deeply shared with workers in difficult circumstances, especially workers far from home, female workers, and single workers who are striving to work and work overtime to have more income and take care of their families.
Comrade affirmed that in the past time, the Party, State and Bac Ninh province have always paid attention to and issued many practical guidelines and policies to ensure social security and improve the material and spiritual life of the people, including union members and workers.
Comrade acknowledged and praised the role of the Bac Ninh Provincial Trade Union organization in proactively coordinating with agencies, units, and businesses to organize many practical Tet care activities such as the "Tet Sum vay" program, "Tet not far from home", contributing to encouraging and supporting union members and workers, especially those in difficult circumstances who do not have the conditions to return to their hometowns for Tet.
On this occasion, the delegation presented gifts to typical landlords who have accompanied and supported workers in the past time; and presented 50 gifts, each gift including 500,000 VND in cash and gifts in kind to union members and workers who did not return to their hometowns for Tet, showing the concern and care of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, Provincial Labor Federation and local Party committees and authorities for workers.
The "Tet not far from home" program is a deeply humane activity, contributing to encouraging the spirit, helping workers feel the concern of all levels, sectors and Trade Union organizations; and at the same time creating a warm and cohesive atmosphere, helping workers celebrate Tet happily and peacefully right at their workplace and residence.
Representatives of workers expressed their emotion at the concern of provincial leaders and the Trade Union organization, and affirmed that they will continue to strive to work and produce, contributing to the development of businesses and localities.
Through the program, the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation continues to affirm its role as a reliable support for union members and workers, always accompanying, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in the province.
