On the evening of March 8, the Ben Tre Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) coordinated with the Ben Tre Provincial Women's Union to organize a meeting to celebrate the 115th anniversary of International Women's Day (8.3), and commend outstanding female union members of the "Good at public work - Good at housework" movement.
At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Chairman of the Ben Tre Provincial Federation of Labor - and delegates reviewed the history of International Women's Day and the good qualities of Vietnamese women.
Chairman of the Ben Tre Provincial Federation of Labor Nguyen Phuc Linh emphasized that in the patriotic emulation movement in all fields, female union members have actively participated, many women have been commended, honored and rewarded, especially in the emulation movement "Good at public work - Good at home work" associated with the emulation movement "New Startup".
In order for the patriotic emulation movement to take place vibrantly and practically in the coming time, the Chairman of the Ben Tre Provincial Federation of Labor hopes that all levels of trade unions, women's unions, female union members and members will promote the indomitable tradition of the long-haired army in the Dong Khoi movement in the past; respond to the emulation movement "New Startup in 2025" and emulation movements to celebrate Party Congresses at all levels, major holidays and political events in 2025. On this occasion, the organizing committee honored 76 outstanding female union members for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Good at public work - Good at home work". In addition, 60 gifts (each worth VND500,000 in cash) were presented to 60 female workers in difficult circumstances working at Viet Vuong 3 Trading Company Limited.
In addition, the Ben Tre Provincial Federation of Labor also symbolically presented 29 "Union Shelters" to district-level Federations of Labor in the area to build houses for union members and workers in difficult circumstances, with a total cost of 1.74 billion VND.
