Attending the conference were Ms. Nguyen Thi Loan - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission. In 2024, trade unions at all levels in the province achieved and exceeded 12/12 targets assigned by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. Notable among them were the work of developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions; activities to care for Tet, Workers' Month and celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union.
The whole province has developed by 10,177 more union members, reaching 120.44%, bringing the total number of existing union members to 125,485; newly established 80 grassroots unions, bringing the total number of existing grassroots unions to 1,361 units; introduced 1,648 outstanding union members for the Party to consider training and admission, reaching 127%, of which 621 outstanding union members introduced by the union have been admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam.
Regarding caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers, on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2024, more than 128,000 union members and workers benefited from activities with a total support amount of more than 38 billion VND...
At the conference, 11 key task groups to implement the 2025 theme "Focusing on developing union members, participating in building a clean and strong Party" were deployed, and solutions were discussed for effective implementation.
In particular, in the immediate future, trade unions at all levels will organize activities to take care of the Lunar New Year 2025 with many activities such as: Happy Tet - Spring thanks to the Party; visiting, giving gifts, wishing Tet to union members and workers; organizing the Trade Union Tet Market, Trade Union Bus Trip, etc.
