At the conference, the Can Tho City Labor Federation announced decisions on dissolving 12 trade unions at the grassroots level and ending the activities of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Inspection Committee from June 20, 2025.

At the same time, 33 grassroots trade unions were dissolved and the activities of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Inspection Committee of grassroots trade unions under the City Labor Federation were terminated from June 10, 2025.

The conference also announced decisions on the transfer of civil servants. Accordingly, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Kieu - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation, Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Can Tho Export Processing and Industrial Zones; Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Ly - Member of the Executive Committee of the City Labor Federation, Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Can Tho City People's Committee; Ms. Ly Hong Ngoc - Member of the Executive Committee of the City Labor Federation, Vice Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Can Tho City Party agencies; Ms. Le Thi Kim Chi - Vice Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Can Tho City People's Committee; Ms. Le Thi Kim Yen - Vice Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Can Tho Export Processing and Industrial Zones; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai Au - Trade Union of Can Tho Export Processing and Industrial Zones; Ms. Phan Nhu - Trade Union of Can Tho City Labor Federation said about the work of the Trade Union of Can Tho City Labor Federation on July 1, 2025.

Speaking at the conference, Chairwoman of the Can Tho City Labor Federation Le Thi Suong Mai acknowledged the contributions of the Standing Committee, Executive Committee and Inspection Committee over the terms. At the same time, it was said that the City Labor Federation will continue to closely follow the direction of the City Party Committee and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, focusing on implementing the arrangement of the apparatus to ensure synchronization, unity, efficiency, associated with restructuring and improving the quality of the Trade Union staff to meet requirements and tasks.
