Attending the training class were nearly 120 delegates who are Chairmen, Vice Chairmen of grassroots trade unions, trade union officials in charge of environmental protection, occupational safety and health, and a network of safety and hygiene workers at enterprises and grassroots trade unions directly under the Can Tho City Labor Federation.

The training content includes two topics. The first topic focuses on introducing the basic contents of the 2020 Law on Environmental Protection and current regulations. The second topic fosters skills and methods of operation in occupational safety and health, environmental protection and health care for workers.


The training class aims to equip and update knowledge and skills for trade union officials working in environmental protection, OSH and the network of safety and hygiene workers at the grassroots level; at the same time, improve the capacity to perform the function of representing, caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers in the field of occupational safety and health.
Through the program, employers and employees have the opportunity to update new legal regulations on environmental protection and OSH, contributing to raising awareness and responsibility in building a safe and healthy working environment and minimizing the risk of occupational accidents and diseases.
