On April 17, the Thoi Lai District Labor Federation held a conference to review the activities of the Trade Union in the first quarter and deploy key tasks in the second quarter of 2025.
During the quarter, Trade Unions at all levels have done a good job of taking care of union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLD) during holidays and Tet. Trade union activities at all levels are increasingly disciplined and stable, the content and methods of operation are being innovated in accordance with the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the District Labor Federation presented 2,368 gifts to union members and workers with a total value of over 1.7 billion VND.
The District Labor Federation synthesized documents and completed the survey procedures for 6 Trade Union Shelters to send to the Can Tho City Labor Federation's professional board pending approval to support the construction of union members with difficult housing circumstances in the district.
Commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); International Labor Day 1.5 and the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1990 - May 19, 2025), the District Labor Federation organized the installation of signs for 3 projects of the Fatherland Flag Road with a total cost of 367.4 million VND.
Implementing the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", in response to the Olympic running day for the health of all people and the month of physical exercise and sports activities, the District Labor Federation and its affiliated grassroots union members will participate in the field run of Thoi Lai district in 2025.
Up to now, grassroots trade unions of agencies, units and enterprises under the District Labor Federation have coordinated with the government and business owners to successfully organize the 2025 Conference of civil servants, public employees and workers in accordance with regulations.
At the conference, delegates actively presented their opinions and contributed opinions on initiatives and creative ways of doing things, contributing to bringing trade union activities in the second quarter of 2025 to meet the assigned targets.
Based on the achieved results, implementing the direction of the Labor Federation of Can Tho City, Thoi Lai District Party Committee, based on the working program in 2025, in the second quarter of 2025, the district Labor Federation continued to perform well the propaganda and education; promote emulation activities and care for, protect legitimate rights and interests for union members and employees; Pay attention to surveying and mobilizing workers and business owners in the area to be eligible to set up trade unions and develop union members according to the assigned targets.
